Is Social Media Making us Antisocial?
Social media is
amazing. It connects the world and empowers us all to make better decisions
about our lives. At a recently conducted survey by Infographics, 83% percent of
shy and lonely respondents reported that platforms like Twitter and Facebook
helped them make new friends, and 25 percent said that these channels had
boosted their confidence.
Can you imagine that 24 percent of people surveyed said that
they had missed witnessing important moments because they were too busy trying
to write about them on their favourite social network....... while these moments were
taking place?
Almost two in five people spend more time socializing online
than they do face-to-face.
What’s your opinion? Comment:

I think that Social Media has helped us to break the akward barrier.... people feel freer to communicate with other people.... so its another form of socialising really.
